A savannah climate with dry winter for Ambila Lemaitso. Rainfall is abundant in both summer and winter. The best time to spend some time in Ambila is between June and November during the dry season.
How to get there
For your trip to Ambila Lemaitso, we advise you to rent an off-road vehicle because the road is a bit circuitous. Follow the RN2 road (Antananarivo - Toamasina). At about ten kilometers after the city of Brickaville, make a right at the junction that will take you to your destination.

Do not limit yourself to the only site of Ambila Lemaitso when you visit the area. Manambato, a well- known seaside resort is also worth a visit. Lake Rasoabe is known for being the arena of water sports enthusiasts. You can practice paragliding or kitesurfing there. Make an incursion to Andevoranto! This place is full of history as it was a slave trading center.
